We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.

What’s in the job: 

  • Creating, maintaining and improving manufacturing process routings.
  • Diagnosing manufacturing and machine process problems and propose corrective action plans.
  • Supporting our ISO 9002 activities, including accurate reporting, applying quality standards and operator training.
  • Designing, analyzing and improving our manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Time studies of manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements reducing costs.
  • Continually improving manufacturing processes through physical observations and value stream analysis and mapping.
  • Reviewing and proposing changes to shop floor layout and work flow.
  • Assisting and coordinating our continuous improvement and cost reduction program initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Implementing continuous improvement plans.
  • Engineering projects as directed by Manufacturing Manager.
  • Coordinating our 5S initiatives.
  • Accurately defining processes, collecting and evaluating data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, preparing reports and maintaining records.

What does it take:

  • Minimum Associates degree with manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience/training which would include internship(s).
  • Personal drive and ambition for continuous improvement(s).
  • Experience with machine shop practices, implementing process improvements and lean manufacturing.
  • Excellent oral, written, listening, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access).

 

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
