We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.
What’s in the job:
- Creating, maintaining and improving manufacturing process routings.
- Diagnosing manufacturing and machine process problems and propose corrective action plans.
- Supporting our ISO 9002 activities, including accurate reporting, applying quality standards and operator training.
- Designing, analyzing and improving our manufacturing processes and operations.
- Time studies of manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements reducing costs.
- Continually improving manufacturing processes through physical observations and value stream analysis and mapping.
- Reviewing and proposing changes to shop floor layout and work flow.
- Assisting and coordinating our continuous improvement and cost reduction program initiatives throughout the organization.
- Implementing continuous improvement plans.
- Engineering projects as directed by Manufacturing Manager.
- Coordinating our 5S initiatives.
- Accurately defining processes, collecting and evaluating data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, preparing reports and maintaining records.
What does it take:
- Minimum Associates degree with manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience/training which would include internship(s).
- Personal drive and ambition for continuous improvement(s).
- Experience with machine shop practices, implementing process improvements and lean manufacturing.
- Excellent oral, written, listening, communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access).
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
